At Stuurman Logistics, no day is the same in our administrative department. As a logistics administrative assistant, your main focus will be handling incoming mail and emails. You'll communicate with our various suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient processes. From answering inquiries and processing invoices to managing billing, you play an essential role in keeping our financial administration running smoothly.

Collaboration is key in this role. You'll work closely with our planning department to gain insight into logistical processes, enabling you to provide the best possible service to suppliers and customers. Additionally, you'll engage in daily discussions with your colleagues in the administration team to coordinate tasks effectively. You'll also perform various checks to ensure that our administration and bookkeeping are accurate and up-to-date.

What you'll bring

We're not just looking for a new colleague for our administration, but a passionate team player who approaches each day with enthusiasm! Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities?

  • You are communicative, empathetic, and equally comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • You have a strong affinity for bookkeeping and are detail-oriented in your work. 
  • Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • You are customer-focused, solution-oriented, accurate, and analytical in your approach.
  • You possess at least an MBO-level educational background or equivalent work experience and can maintain structure and organization, even in high-pressure situations.

who are we?

Stuurman Logistics BV has been organizing all types of transport within the Benelux, France, and Germany for over 30 years. We do this with our own fleet of around 30 trucks, as well as in collaboration with many (international) carriers. An important part of our organization is the transportation of 'dry' goods.
