Not a single day is the same at Stuurman Logistics. In our dynamic work environment, we are looking for an enthusiastic logistics planner who thrives on variety and responsibility.

Every day, you'll be in contact with our customers, discussing their needs, brainstorming the best solutions and negotiating transport rates. Once the agreements are made, you ensure everything runs smoothly: you process transport orders, create route plans and keep all parties involved – from the customer to the receiver – informed of the progress.

Additionally, you're always striving for an efficient schedule and working proactively to prevent problems. Should challenges arise, you address them quickly and professionally in consultation with the customer.

What you'll bring

At Stuurman Logistics, we're not just looking someone; we're looking for an enthusiastic and driven colleague who is excited to get started every day. Does this sound like you?

  • You have completed at least an MBO-level education in a commercial or logistics field.
  • You have a good command of Dutch and English; if you also speak French, Italian, or Spanish, that's a great bonus!
  • You're comfortable working with various software packages.
  • You already have experience in a similar role.
  • You have strong communication skills and always put the customer first.
  • Accuracy, resilience under pressure and teamwork are qualities that define you.

who are we?

Stuurman Logistics BV has been organizing all types of transport within the Benelux, France, and Germany for over 30 years. We do this with our own fleet of around 30 trucks, as well as in collaboration with many (international) carriers. An important part of our organization is the transportation of 'dry' goods.
